The Belfast Ambassador Programme is a network of over 1,200 leading academic, medical and business professionals who work in partnership with Visit Belfast to attract prestigious national and international conferences and events to the city.
Below are a selection of ambassadors whom we work with from Queen’s University Belfast, University of Ulster, the Belfast Trust, the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) and from the corporate sector in Belfast and Northern Ireland.
Belfast Ambassadors on the Front Line
Visit Belfast works with a fantastic network of local academics, medical professionals and leaders from the business community. Belfast’s Ambassadors are tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges, most notably the current global pandemic; COVID-19. From home-grown Randox Laboratories producing the largest number of COVID testing kits in the UK, to QUB’s Professor Mark Lawler leading the European COVID-19 Network at QUB; the city is proud of our local talent working as a force for good.
