Belfast is a city of international significance and home to the most successful peace process in the world. Peace, Anthropology and Conflict Resolution has been identified as a priority for growth within the business events sector in Belfast.

Over 60 local peace and community related organisations do tremendous work at a grass roots level in Belfast and Northern Ireland. Many of them have now partnered with our local universities, companies and councils to turn these projects into truly experiential tours and activities which have enormous value to national and international visitors; from visiting peace walls to taking political taxi tours or even meeting local communities who have real stories to share. Peace tourism is now recognised as a growing area that has the potential to entice visitors back time and time again. We are fortunate to have many passionate researchers, academics and groups who really understand partnerships in getting our message out to a global audience and are delighted to share our insights, stories and learnings with the world.   A living museum city in the process of exceptional transformational change and conflict resolution, Belfast has a global role to play in this area and is recognised worldwide as a city region that has emerged from conflict
